A little more time left and this year season is ended for the fans who likes to eat fresh tomatoes straight from the garden. And how to extend their consumption when the yard is hit by the first frost, and the tomato plants are still holding green tomatoes? I offer you one of the ways how to extend the tomato relish without losing their taste.

So: before the frosts cut tomato bushes and put one above another one in height no more than 50 - 70 cm. and cover with straw. After 6 - 7 days open the bush under warm sunny day, choose ripe tomatoes and harbor again till next time.
