Today I will tell you the whole truth about the process on how to grow green onions. Consider this info as being taken from the first hands. Raising of the green onion - it's one of my favorite activities. Before starting to cultivate, I learned a bunch of stuff about this great green vegetable.

It's awesome to pick the green onions from the garden to pick but in the winter when vitamins and strong immunity are what we really need so onion would be very handy.

Bright and juicy green color is very pleasing to the eye and it is so uplifting to your mood!!! You can compare it with a small gift of summer.

Apparently this green beauty is very useful and a storehouse of vitamins and minerals. Consuming this product regularly you can avoid a lot of health problems, greatly saving on medication without wasting your time on trips to hospitals.

Green onion's advantages:

  • Contains a lot of vitamins E, C , B2, B1, PP , A.
  • Contains many trace elements : magnesium, potassium, phosphorus, chromium, zinc, iron, fluorine, sulfur, chlorine, aluminum.
  • Contains antioxidants: they are struggling with cancer cells.
  • Contains chlorophyll which is useful for the formation of blood cells.
  • Contains a huge amount of phytoncids: they protect from viral infections and bacterial pathogens.
  • Includes high content of folic acid which is useful for pregnant women in the first trimester.

Eat a small bunch of scallions every day and you will avoid many diseases.

Green onion's benefits:

  • Green onions raise appetite, improve digestion and assimilation of food.
  • It is a good additive for vitamin deficiency during spring fatigue.
  • Scallions lower bad cholesterol in the blood and inhibits the development of atherosclerosis .
  • High content of potassium is beneficial for the heart's work.
  • Scallions are used in food for prevention of men's prostate.
  • They improve the flavor of the meals.

That is how the green onion is useful. These days you can buy scallions in the store or grow them on the windowsill at home. Useful qualities of the cut scallions will remain in for two weeks .

The only precautions before consumption of the green onions are recommended to people with diseases of gastrointestinal tract, liver and kidneys. No other contradictions were observed.
